Kaj bom torej storil? Molil bom s svojim duhom [po Svetem Duhu, ki je v meni], a molil bom tudi [inteligentno] s svojim umom in razumevanjem. (1 Korin\u010danom 14,15)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Zares bi vas rada opogumila, da vztrajno molite neomajne, vztrajne molitve pod vodstvom Svetega Duha \u2013 ne samo ponavljajo\u010dih se molitev, ki ne prihajajo iz va\u0161ega srca, ampak take molitve, ko se odlo\u010dite, da ne boste odnehali, ampak \u00bbtrmasto\u00ab vztrajali. Mo\u017eno je, da uporabljate svoja usta, da izgovarjajo besede molitve, ki nimajo nobenega pomena, in take molitve niso ni\u010d drugega kot mrtva dela. Lahko citiram celotno Gospodovo molitev, medtem ko mislim na nekaj drugega. To nikakor ne bo proslavilo Boga, meni pa ne storilo ni\u010d dobrega. \u010ce pa sem iskrena in molim s srcem, Bog sli\u0161i in deluje v moje dobro.<\/p>\n

Zgolj govorjenje ne naredi ni\u010desar za Boga niti ni\u010desar ne dopolni v na\u0161em \u017eivljenju. Zato moramo biti previdni tudi takrat, ko znova in znova molimo za isti namen, da ne zapademo v nesmiselno ponavljanje. Namesto tega moramo dovoliti Svetemu Duhu, da nas vodi na sve\u017e na\u010din, \u010deprav obravnavamo t\u00e9mo, glede katere molimo \u017ee precej dolgo. V\u010dasih nas bo vodil k marljivosti in vztrajnosti glede zadeve, vendar obstaja razlika med ponavljanjem in vztrajnostjo, ki jo vodi Duh.<\/p>\n

V molitvi izgovorjene besede, ki niso povezane z na\u0161im srcem, so besede brez mo\u010di. Ko molimo, se moramo zbrati in osredoto\u010diti na to, kar re\u010demo. Nikoli ne smemo samo govoriti stvari, ki smo si jih zapomnili, medtem ko je na\u0161e srce dale\u010d stran od Boga. Iskrena (sr\u010dna, vztrajna, gore\u010da) molitev pravi\u010dnega ima na voljo ogromno mo\u010d (veliko premore) (gl. Jakob 5,16).<\/p>\n
