สมอแห่งความหวัง

‘The hope we have is a sure and sure anchor of the soul, leading to the sanctuary behind the veil.’ – Hebrews 6:19 (NKJV)

We all go through difficult times in life, and like a ship adrift in a storm, we need something to hold us up. Ships have anchors to keep them in place, and the Bible says our spiritual anchor is “hope.”

When you and I firmly place our hope in God and His Word, even though we may feel the winds and storms raging, we will ultimately remain unmoved.

In times of storm, hope helps us to see the reality of the situation and remain confident that something better is yet to come. That’s what makes hope such a powerful and important quality for us, especially in the face of adversity.

While it’s true that no one, not even God, can promise that we won’t face disappointment or problems, it’s important that we never stop hoping.
Maintaining a positive attitude and clinging to the hope we have in Christ will put us in a position to witness God’s miraculous power.

Begin to pray

“Lord, I put my hope in You. My faith and expectation of the great things You will do in my life are my anchor in the storm.”
